Hey guys, sorry I haven't been blogging cause I was involved in the Youth Olympic Games recently. (Okay, I admit, I'm also crippled by my own laziness...)

OHHH! I changed the background for my blog but IDK how to put a picture as the header. SUCKS!!! Time to change blog skin. Actually, I really really REALLY want to change my blog skin BUT I'm too lazy to move my tagboard, site meter, links, and personal info around and Im also trying to avoid losing any information.

OKAY! It has been a very fruitful day cause I managed to coax myself of having a one-day workaholic lifestyle. well actually, I wasn't that busy la. Just had to attend school and the Miss Selfridge's Fashion Night Out event.

I didn't take pictures of the event or myself cause I was too lazy, I wasn't dressed well and it wasn't a BIG event.

THIS, is my goodie bag:

It contains samples from Benefit (HELL YEAHHH!!!) High beam & a moisturizer. Miss Selfridge lip balm and nail file, complimentary classic manicure.

They have this particular product that is something like a nail sticker. Look at my pinky in the picture. this is how the end product looks like. Well basically, this thing is a substitute for nail polish cause it doesnt take time to dry, can peel off easily and they got 300++ designs to choose from. (they only have abt 10(?) at the venue) I think the idea is interesting la. but its damn expensive and hard if u wanna DIY at home cause it takes alot of work to get the sticker nicely on the nail. Its from USA,

Okay, they had a special discount thingy during the event today la. If you bring a friend there and buy ANYTHING, you get the member card. Which is great cause usually u need to spend 150bucks at either topshop, topman, miss selfridge or dorothy perkins. so yeah... not bad la. the deal. PLUS everything in the store is the new autumn collection and its store-wide 20% off.

SO... bought this BEAUTIFUL pair of heels. :D

The original price is 79.90 but after 20% off its around $63. And the friend who went with me got a member card as well... :D

I left halfway through the event cause I was SOO damn bored... They were just explaining abt the season's trends and what the store has to offer this season... (like I'm blind and need you to explain what I'm looking at to me...) PLUS, the host was SUPER NON-CHARISMATIC...

So yeah, left to go shopping!!! :D
I've been so deprived of shopping for the past month that I'm on the verge of getting withdrawal symptoms from it. lol. kidding la. just hand itchy...

The reason bought this is cause its damn it cute and the cutting is FAB!!! It doesn't seem as nice in the picture but maybe next time when i finally wear it then you guys can judge.

The original cost is 79.90. But cause Jom has the New Look member and $20 off voucher that has to be used by the end of the month, I had $20 off and only had to pay 59.90. :D

Yes I bought TONS of undergarments again. lol. ALL cotton on body's fault. I LOVE their sales for their lingerie. In total, I bought 3bras and 2 panties. 1.The red and white polka dot one 2.The fuchsia one with beautiful straps that cant be seen in the picture. 3. The strawberry one. 4. The strawberry panties that I find cute but doesn't match the bra. 5. The strawberry panties that matches the bra and is DAMN bloody cute.
The bras costs 10bucks each and the panties costs 5 bucks each. :D

**tiny update

I just saw an old friend's fb cause he asked me how I was the other day.
Its so scary how people grow up so fast.
He earned 70k+ by doing a job. (IDK what job it is if not I'd be rich by now)
That's just 10% of it. Of course, it was a shared business.
He just took off in a A380 jet to Japan as well. (for work)

I met him during primary school in the tuition centre.
The centre is pretty famous at that time.
He was one of the guy friends that I was close to and kinda had a crush on.
But even then you could tell that he was good at dealings with business.

I remember that there was one occasion that he made a bet that I couldn't finish my Chinese essay in time, before class ended.
His bet was 50 bucks. No conditions.
It was the kind of unfair deal that no teen would agree to.
If I didn't finish, I won't lose anything either.

So... Obviously I rushed that essay.
But as you know... little miss slow poke here would take 10 mins to write one Chinese character.
So I kinda cheated till the end. It was slightly pass the deadline and I sneakily told him I did hand in before the deadline.

But Mr gentleman here was kind enough to not spoil my ego.
And I kinda rubbed it in reminding him every 5 mins abt the deal and asking him where my money is.
OBVIOUSLY I would have thought that he was joking about the money right!!! LIKE WTF!!!
50 bucks is like a MILLION dollars to a 11/12 year old kid.

So, the next week, before tuition, Mr gentleman DID FUCKING HAND ME THE 50BUCKS and asked me to keep it. (He kinda insisted.)
Being the greedy and snotty brat that I am at that time(hopefully not now), I took it and kept it.
~end of story~

But throughout all these years I've never forgotten about the 50bucks.
I know I would one day return the 50bucks to him but its like how the hell am I supposed to do that???

Randomly post a wall post on fb:

"Hello. Remember the 50bucks you lost in a bet about 6 years ago? I wanna return it to you."

WTF. NO WAY LAH! It would be damn embarrassing if he didn't rmb. OR WORSE! Ignore my comment...
PLUS. He is fucking rich now. Why would he wanna spend $$ on transport to meet me to get back a measly 50dollar note? (He has always been rich but its prob his parents' money when he was younger)

Okay... but seriously...
It suddenly hit me that people whom you think wouldn't make it big because it is pretty impossible and not realistic in life, WILL!
You will never know if the good friend whom you lost touch for a long period of time would suddenly become a BIG shot one day.
It gives me hope but despair as well.
I know that they work hard and prob have to be extra savvy to start a business or continue one.
But can you imagine how I feel beside them?

I think I have WAY too successful friends.
It scares me sometimes and obviously make me feel inadequate.
It seems like I'm not trying hard enough.(NOT that I am la. But I just wish I was)

I have ambitions too. But when I think of them realistically I realize that it is going to be hard trying to accomplish them.

I'm scared to death now. Suddenly don't feel like growing up. (Though I'm still happy with the fact that I'm legal with most things that concerns themselves with age.)

Fuck. I feel like crying...

p.s. NO! I'm not suicidal or under depression. Thank you.

p.p.s Did I mention that he was born just 8 days after me? Also, the fact that his brother is the same age as mine and in the same secondary school right now.

p.p.p.s I just found out that he is in the same school as me as well. But we've never bumped into each other.

I bought it last friday and was rushing through my game and I haven't even visited egypt yet :P

I adore the new features and stuff that comes with the game but the thing that really disappoints me is that you can't continue the game from your original version (is it?)

But SERIOUSLY! this is better value for money than the first disc. It has like 3 more neighbourhoods for you to explore and the decor and construction is perfect!

Yeah... the cd packaging doesnt tell you much but I'm sure that if you are a fan of sims, you'll be very much satisfied :D

p.s. MUAHAHA! the developers of sims must be really feeling the heat of the financial crisis cause they've reused the music from sims 1 with the makin' magic expansion pack when-choosing-a-lot-while-in-magic-town when your sims from sims 3 is in france!!!

Hello!
Its been really long...

Anyway. Finally had the brains to blog stuff.

Few interesting things happened in the week...

1. I TOTALLY CRACKED MY LAPTOP SCREEN!!!
(explains why I havent been online for ages)

Was like WTF when it happened.
SUPER ridiculous!

I placed my thumb on the screen of my lappy and lifted it up with 1 hand.
Then I heard a loud crack... Obviously super duper shocked lah.
Scare the fking day and night lights out of me.
Not excatly the first time I cracked a screen ACCIDENTALLY.
Knew that it was going to be expensive to repair it.
NO ONE can imagine the fear of telling it to my parents lah!
Had nightmares and couldnt sleep well for a couple of nights.
I hyper-ventilate in the middle of the night. (yes it was that bad)

Went to sony to ask about the price to fix it and everything.

***WE INTERRUPT THIS PROGRAMME FOR A SPECIAL SLIP-CLIP
Since wisma(where sony was) was beside THE NEW ION ORCHARD, I went to kaypo abit la.
Strolled around the amazingly confusing-and hard-to-navigate place.
Ended up in the same part of the mall quite a few times.
Saw a few familiar shops.
Quick summary:
-LV has doors for crowd control as usual but this store seems more upscale than the one in taka.
-Chanel has adopted an open concept. Pretty shocking, thought they would be like LV to segregate the rich from the poor-peeps-just-browsing-or-even-worse-stealing.
-JustCavalli, OMG! Please do something to make your store stand out!!! I wouldn't even notice it is there if not because I was looking for signs that showed me the way to the washroom. I know its JC's standard fixtures and stuff. But considering the area of the store is extremely small and pretty bare, it will really be "eaten up" by the big sotres beside it.
-Sephora! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! YOUR RENT MUST BE SUPER DUPER FKING HIGHHHHHH!!! Crazy huge! but so big also never put to good use! NEVER SELL BENEFIT!!! I ANGRY.
-Still tons of shops not opened yet.(including the food court-like wtfh)
-The regulars like topshop and river island(not opened) gets a piece of the big pie. Even fred perry has joined in with other international brands.(OMG! SO MATERIALISTIC!)

-Well to describe ion in a simple sentence would be "An upscale shopping haven that vagely reminds frequent shoppers of an upscale takashimaya would be like."
(makes me wonder if they are from the same company)

*fastforward....
I was seated infront of this man, suspisciously gay, wearing a green shirt and spoke with a really weird, possibly fake accent, throwing disgusted looks at me as if I've commintted a mortal sin waiting for him to tell me the dire consequence and price that I have to pay for my lappy. Obviously I was shaking lah! ALOT worse than getting back my o lvl results since this concerened Ka-Ching, lots of it.

Finally the!@#$%^&* told me that this is not covered under warranty, which I knew beforehand, and I'd had to pay for it.(Doh')

Well, in my last futile effort of changing my fate(being pocket-money less for the next 3+++ months), I tried to explain that I find the screen cracking under the pressure of my thumb absurd! which I find perfetly reasonable to question the quality of my particular laptop. (They have crash test vids online to show how the laptop has been dropped at different heights without breaking, or getting their screen cracked - virtually harmless.) I told him how the screen had cracked and blah blah blah and guess what the bastard said. well, sth like that...

"I know you are upset but our company has to make sure that we explain it to the customers that damages that are done by physical damage will not be covered under warranty" I showed signs of getting ready to protest but he cut me off and continued. "Furthermore, these kind of things wont just spoil like that and ONLY THE USER THEMSELVES WILL KNOW EXCATLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO IT." And cast me a dirty look.

WAHHHH I TELL YOU!!!
I was so enraged by what he said I almost wanted to stand up and strangle him.
Super pissed off.

In case you guys misunderstand:
Firstly, I wasnt pissed off cause he didnt want to hear me out or help me.
Second, fyi, BLAMING the innocent is the number 1 sin in my book.

bloody hell! In case you havent realised dude! IM THE DAMN CUSTOMER!

SECOND!!! I'M NOT 10! and therefore MUCH smarter than you think I am to pass whatever you said off as cursing me under your breath(although I know you did)

AND IN WHAT DAMNIT POSITION ARE YOU IN TO FREAKING ACCUSE ME OF FUCKING LYING TO YOU?

btw, fyi, the com was fixed at 500++ bucks.

I see people playing hangman and doodle-ing.

I see groups talking among themselves.

I see myself typing in the obviously exteremely glaring screen of my laptop and also others doing the same.

Comms class is exteremely annoying. Its only the first damn class.

Just a comic relief before class today. (okay, it just became 2.)

anyway, Was meeting shu chen and ros today in the canteen...
After we were done we went to class la.
So, on the way to the class. we saw our the mojority of the people in our class at the lift lobby.
So we were like... where are they going since class was at the other side.

we also saw our lecturer la.
So, we asked around and they said that he decided to change the class.
and class was at XXX floor.

So, our lecturer went into the lift with 1/2 of the people there from my class.
And the other half, including me went into the next lift.

so, we all came into the lift and I was the person nearest to the buttons la.
And I was like "which floor is it?"
And they were like 4th. So I pressed 4th luh.
When we finally reached the 4th floor, they were like, sure or not?
4th floor library lehh!
maybe its the 3rd floor la.
then we closed the lift door and it went to the 5th and 6th floor (not control-able)
and stopped at every floor before we reached the 3rd.
All of us went out. looked around and didnt see anyone.
Then Ros said she saw one of our classmate at the 4th floor just now.
So all of us took the lift up to the 4th floor again and FINALLY saw our lecturer...coming out from the toilet...

I was in the MRT going home yesterday with shu chen.
And we saw this mother at the side of the door with her baby boy in the stroller.

He had really fair skin(ang moh).

FFFFFFinally pon a class today.
like shit lahhh.
not even a class
some effective time management thingy...

went to sch early at 12.15
took cab somemore
then reach already got lost again.
ended up at SSC with ros

realised that PBM was replaced by this effective time management thingy at 3.30-6.30
damn it sia...3 bloody hrs early...

ate proper sch food for the first time...

left half of the fish but finished the baked beans and fries.

went to the library to chill by myself.

was woken up by the guy in charge of library yelling.
he took 2 girls and searched them and found 2 books...
he found out that the bks didnt have barcodes in them cause he is supposed to scan for them to borrow. (they said they forgot to borrow after they put it into their bags...)
then they damn smart and said that they didnt wanna borrow it...
so the guy took their IC and sent them to the students affairs...

The fruits tasted super fresh and juicy.
The cream wasnt too sweet or bland and it wasnt too thick or diluted as well.
There were swirls of chocolate underneath the rich velvety cream and if you dig deep enough, there are cornflakes piled up and sweetened by soaking up the essense of the cream...

Take part of a fruit, scoop some cream onto it and top it off with the cornflakes and slowly let it melt in your mouth....

OMG FINALLY!

After sitting in front of my bloody laptop for 6 bloody hours did I remember what I needed to blog about!

yes. It has been staring at me with the glaring lights for 6 FREAKING HOURS!!!

My laptop...
YEP!!!!!!!! FINALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After 3 LONG years of waiting for a Vaio I've finally got one! YAY!
This is my new Vaio Z series! YAY!

It was on sale on the IT fair that was in suntec the week before cause I went on the last day near the last hour. MUAHHAHAHA!

I got it for 2799 bucks I think?
(daddy paid of course!)

He'd intially didnt want to get me the Z series and have made it clear that he had wanted to get a CS or SR for me! But obviously I was pissed and reluctant to lah! I'd even have to bribe and threaten my siblings to help me persuade my dad!

Speaking about the IT fair!!! WAHHHHHH DAMNIT!
So freaking crowded lahhhhh!
It freaking hell took me 20 minutes to walk 100m!

After I got my lappy, my dad needed to get the wireless router from D-link in another exhibition hall. So I trudged on with the heavy package with my sister pulling onto my (suddenly) ridiculously heavy bag as we plunged into the sea of hungry bargain hunting ~~geeks~~ people.

I was so afraid that some one would kick my laptop so I hugged it tight around my chest but all I got was weird stares from people. So I started to hold the paperbag with the strings which hurt my palm but I tahan la. Still, I was protective of my laptop la so I trailed slowly behind my dad with my sister reluctantly following behind which made us slowed down even more which eventually leads to my sis and I being lost.

Blah! Anyway, My dad got the router fixed up so im using the wireless network now.

OHH! HAHA! Forgot to mention...
The ~~day~~ night I got my lappy(after resisting for approw 5 hours of not touching the box at all) I screwed up the system...

It was 3+++ - 4 in the morn...
I started up my lappy...(I even took a video of it...wanna see?)

after the 'birth' of my lappy, I switched off the lights so that my parents wont kill me for the electricity bills AGAIN.

So... I was meddling with the system and programms and stuff lahh...
Then I realised that windows vista does nt have games(pre-loaded)..
Being EXTREMELY unfailiar with the vista version, I.........

Well, you see, my room light were turned off...I was (kinda) sleepy... blah blah blah...
then I took the installation disc out from the box labelled 'Vaio Z series...Installation disc' which is also highlighted in a different colour and a larger font, the immediate response was to plug it into your com and think that it is some missing part of your system right??

BUT HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! I WASSSSSSSSS WRONGGGGGGGGGGG! DEAD WRONG!

stupid fool! The disc will actually my freaking windows vista business to a FREAKING WINDOWS XP!!! wtf.....

since the installation took time...(The after effects are still unknown to me) I left my com batt to charge for 8 hours and went to sleep with the thingys running.

The next day, when i woke up... I turned on my lappy la.
Then it started out normally...until I was the 'loading windows XP' sign...

I WAS LIKE WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT???????????

then I took up the installation disk and read the fine print(like SUPER FINE-PRINT) behind the disc which I couldnt read in the dark the night before and it said...

"WARNING!!!
This product will remove the Windows Vista recovery partition from its hard drive. Before using the product please create the recovery mediausing the VAIO recovering Wizard. "

FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

After calming down...

I thought that this mistake was EASILY fixable lahh...
I mean...since like the installation of xp was so easy, it would be easy to bring vista back again lah...

BUT I WAS DEAD WRONG.....AGAINNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!

walau! I thought I could have gone Challenger to get the programme(windows vista) BUT IT WAS TOO!@#$%^&*() EXPENSIVE LUHH!!!

So I went back home and called service centre lahh. Then they said that they can fix it but have to pay 160++ then I was like WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! again... But I decided to go with this cause its like WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than the programme.

So... I brought it to the service centre and told the woman lah(she was REALLLLLLLLLLY NICE!!!) then she laughed and said that a man also did that earlier...-__-|||

But she said I dont have to pay(YAY!) cause its still under warranty (DUH!!! ITS LIKE THE FREAKING 2ND DAY ONLY) but it would take them at least 1 week to return me my lappy!
Then I was like "DADDY WILL KILL MEEE!!!! 2nd day only spoil already hah!"

So I lied to sony again la(sorry ahh) saying that I had to travel in 3 days time so that they can make my case urgent and be done in 3 days(mininum).

So I left the place relieved luhh."PHEW"

But now my lappy is safe and sound running on windows vista :D:D:D

YAYY!!!!!!!

Went to eat at spice! SUPER DUPER YUMMY!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I ate chicken and cheese murtabak with a root beer float.
Its kinda pricey but the portions are TOOOOOOOOTIFYINGLY BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!
My murtabak casts 7 bucks but it was so filling that only could devour half of it...
the curry there is nice too!
The quality of the food there ROCKS LAHHH!!!

But the highlights of the month are:
1. Went on the flyer for the second time (for free of cours)
2 Resigned on the first day of work for the events promoter job
3. Went for 4 interviews in total
4. Resigned on the third week of my telemarketing job

Now I really want a DOG!!!

Here are my choices!

This is the FURRY ADORABLE CHOW CHOW!!! (my latest obsession)

The advantages:
1. that it is cute lahh!!! wtf! ALL OF THEM ARE!!!
2. Suppose its nice to cuddle up to.
3. Doesnt need much exercise although its ~~slightly~~ 2 times bigger than the toy breeds.

The disadvantages:
1. Long fur(harder to maintain)
2. Grows till about medium to big size
3. I suppose that it has a UBER THICK double coat which would translate into the floor being covered in dog fur.

Preferences:
Prefers a red coloured coat(shown) or a cream or cinnamon coloured coat.
Hopefully they come in toy breeds(suppose its not possible)
And cost lesser (approx SGD3.5k) --Price from pet safari
{I know that you can get it lesser at a 'pet farm' but I dont have the time to go there lahh!}

Ranked 76/78 of dog breeds for intelligence. (3rd stupid-est dog in the world)

Love the PUPPIES!!!

The advantages:
1. Its a toy breed. Need I say more?
2. OHH! and it doesn't shed its fur!

The disadvantages:
1. It has CLEAN AND SPOTLESS WHITE FUR!!! (needs a kinda fur whitening shampoo that I suppose is more expensive???)
2. Will have long fur that would possibly make it into a mop. (unless (I would frequently) make a trip down for grooming of course...)
3. Needs to be well groomed..... like everyday!!! (I dont like those maltese pups you see in the pet shop with brown stains around their mouth or eyes "GROSS!")
4. They bark alot!
5. Those who are sensetive to dogs(medically) might not be able to take it.

Preferences:
1. They come in only a colour... But I would like to have a Creamy white one.
2. For their fur to be lil curls and not straight.
3. For them not having as much tear stains.

Ranked 59/78 of dog breeds for intelligence. (along with the Griffon Bruxellois)

The all-time fav - shi tzu.

Advantages:
1. Its a toy breed too!
2. Has a double coat but the shedding can be reduced to almost nothing if cared for properly.
3. Will remain equaly cute even after its fully grown (unlike the maltese which looks slightly too long and the chow chow that might look fierce)

Disadvantages:
1. Their eyeballs often pops out! (Yea. You heard right...)
2. They might look abit cock-eyed.
3. Same terrible grooming issues as the maltese.

Remarks:
1. I prefer the standard shi tzu with 1/3 chocolate brown fur and 2/3 white fur.
2. Also like the maltese, for the fur to be curly and not straight.
3. Though the maintanence of the fur is slightly easier than the maltese, its still troublesome cause I dont like cleaning.

The last thing that happened was the blackout at TBP!!!

Freaking hilarious. Was at the Macs at tiong when everything just suddenly turned pitch black.

Cause the macs were located at the external part of the mall, we thought that only the macs blacked out cause of some power failure within the restaurant or something.

Then jo went out and looked around cause I was SO engrossed in playing that game on my phone.
And she came back with the news that more of the shops outside were also plunged in darkness as well.
